THANK YOU TO MR CHADWAN AL YAGHCHI
TALK ON PEM AND EARS, NOSES AND THROATS
It was a great pleasure to meet via Zoom, with Mr Chadwan Al Yaghchi. We are grateful for his time and for his unusual expertise and knowledge about the effects of pemphigus and pemphigoid on the nose, the throat and, unexpectedly, the ears. It is hard to find an ENT expert in our diseases and we learnt a lot about the impact of autoimmune blistering on these membranes and the treatment and care of them
Mr Al Yaghchi is a consultant otolaryngologist at the National Centre for Airway Reconstruction and Imperial Voice and Swallowing Centre at Imperial College Healthcare Trust and also works in private practice.
He has developed a particular expertise in laryngology (throat disorders) with a specialist interest in airway stenosis (narrowing of the airway) and dysphagia (swallowing disorders). He visited various international centres including a visiting fellowship to UC Davies Center for Voice and Swallowing, Sacramento, USA. In addition, he is an honorary consultant at The Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust where he manages children with complex airway, respiratory and swallowing conditions.

Thank you Mr Al Yaghchi for your time and your interest in pemphigus and pemphigoid.
